Im debating about a wireless headphone and mp3 player combo

Apple i pod mini + Wireless bluetooth headphones for the mini

Or

A virgin electronics 5 gb mp3 player + Wireless Bluetooth headphones

The virgin combo would be cheaper, but the mini combo is better because the headphones can skip tracks as well.. So i'm stuck in a rut here. Thats why i am posting it to see what others think is better.

Initially, I was going to say that the virgin electronics combo was better since 80 dollars is a lot to pay when the main difference is track selection on the headphones. I looked at some customer reviews on Amazon though, and the general consensus was that the Virgin Electronics media player was a piece of junk and more trouble than its worth. Also, Virgin Electronics customer support is nonexistent.
You can read the customer reviews here.

ipods normally are high priced, but $169 for an ipod on that site is not that bad. I just like the ability to play/pause and skip tracks without even having to pull the ipod out of my pocket. I don't care for fm radio as they do not play the songs i listen to.

Zen's always look more bulky to me anyways.

dreamer- 04-09-2006
true they are bulky but better quality and value

and i can change tracks without takin out of my pocket

Mr. Grim- 04-09-2006
well, it all depeneds. IpOds look much better, but Zens may work much nicer. It really depends on your tastte. (I would prefer the iPod )

So can i with those headphones i got, the main sellling point for me. I hike alot, and i worn cd and mp3 players and i always catch the cords on the tree's. this is alot better, the ipod can be in my backpack and i have no cord and the ability to change volume/tracks without grabbing the player.

well its possible to buy wireless headphones for creative

and creatve actually keep their promise of song amounts

5000= 500o of 4 mins

ipod = 5000 of like 1.30 secs most times

but its up to you

Mr. Grim- 04-13-2006
Umm...Apple bases the number of songs on, and I quote,
QUOTE
Song capacity is based on four minutes per song and 128-Kbps AAC encoding.

So please don't make up lies (I don't apprecieat criticism on Apple, I love them to much tongue.gif )

crap

creative!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

apple?

Blazeix- 04-13-2006
Thank you dreamer for that insightful comment.

The only thing I don't like about Ipods is the DRM. Don't they have some sort of restricitive plan? Maybe Ipods aren't restrictive, but ITunes is. I forget which way it goes.

Mr. Grim- 04-13-2006
...Apple computers are the best (part wish) , Mac OS X is one of the best OS's out there (well, until Vista come out), and the iPods are great! Creative can't even compare.

But, let's not drif to far off-topic. Good choice DeadInside wink.gif
