ok as my other thread got locked, here is a new one,

VBA or Visual Basic Application, runs in EXCEL and allows you to create user interfaces that would maximise the potential of your spreadsheets. It is accessed by clicking macros>visual basic editor in the menu of excel.

lol - VBA is also in other Office programs.... Word, Excel, Power Point, and mainly Access.... Its probably in others also!

I use it sometimes, but mainly to program macros in Word, actually. It has a pretty useful code completion feature. You can find a tutorial here

I attempted Visual basic for applications, but I only know 6.0.
