Because the other thread was becoming overwhelmed with chit chat, I decided to start a new STAFF POSITIONS topic. Please do not chat in this topic.
Total # of Staff Positions:
3 - Jester
4 - Techie
4 - Gamer
2 - Programmer
2 - Moderator
2 - Admin
Here are the requirements:Jester:- You must show leadership
- You must have at least 100 Overall Posts
- You must have posted at least 25 "Funny" Posts
- Must have 10% or less warning level
Techie:- You must show knowledge of computers, and be able to help others.
- You must have at least 100 Overall Posts
- You must have at least 25 helpful posts related to computers
- Must have 10% or less warning level
Gamer:- You must show knowledge of gaming
- You must have at least 100 Overall Posts
- You must have posted at least 25 Gaming related posts
- Must have 10% or less warning level
Programmer:- You must be able to code, and help others with coding
- You must have at least 100 Overall Posts
- You must have posted at least 25 Programming related posts
- Must have 10% or less warning level
Moderator:- You must show a lot of leadership skills
- You must win a vote by the members to be accepted
- You must have at least 250 Posts
- You must show yourself as a leader by helping other users
- Must have 0% warning
Admin:- By special request only.
If you are accepted into one of these positions, you gain the following rights:Jester:- You have MODERATOR rights in the "Everything Else" Forum
- You will have access to the VIP Lounge
- Your name will show up in Purple
Techie:- You have MODERATOR rights in any of the "Computer" forums
- You will have access to the VIP Lounge
- Your name will show up in Teal
Gamer:- You have MODERATOR rights in any of the "Gaming" forums
- You will have access to the VIP Lounge
- Your name will show up in Red Italics
Programmer:- You have MODERATOR rights in any of the "Programming" forums
- You will have access to the VIP Lounge
- Your name will show up in Olive Green
Moderator:- You have MODERATOR rights in MOST forums
- You will have access to the VIP Lounge
- Your name will show up in Green
Moderators are expected to:- Check the forum at least 3 times a week, and post at least 10 times a week
- Continue to post useful information
- Edit others posts to correct spelling, grammar, etc
- Edit others posts to remove offensive materials
- Discipline members based on the rules
- Promote the forums! (without spamming)
Other staff positions are expected to:- Be able to check the forum at least 2 times a week, and post at least 5 times a week
- Be a leader in your area
- Help keep threads on topic
- Correct obvious spelling/grammer errors
- Be helpful to other forum members
- Report member breaking the rules, and discipline if need be.
- Stay active on the forum!
Note:- If you are not going to be be able to post for a while (vacation, etc) just let me know.
- If you are not doing your job, you can be demoted!
- If at any time you do not meet the requirements for the position, you will also be demoted!
