actully, i meant which way it up for te ram stick. as in which side is the top.

the program i had for that was rambooster preffered RB to most ppl but so I hear you cant get more ram by downloading programs what I hear is that you can only get ram by buying it and ram is usually 50 bucks for even the smallest of ram

getting ram by downloading a program, thats new.

well.. those programs help to free your ram up... they don't actually raise the amount of RAM you have.... Also, they run in the background, and can sometimes do more harm than good!

When you install ram, do you have to wear a ESD bracelet? Or is that just for video card and stuff?

ESD bracelet, I never wear one. Just be sure not install componetns on your carpet and you should be fine. I have put together full computers without one, its a nice thing to have though, and I belive they are fairley inexspensive. If your a little nsure I highly reccomend one!

I had one and my PC went ultra solow, i dont recommend those types of programs, they are horrible, for some extra memory you could increase you virtual ram!
