I think that sony's PS3 is no doubt going to be a great system however I personally think if they waited another 2-4 years for gaming to really evolve they would have made a system that would have been trully mind blowing! What do you guys think?

I agree! Personally, I think all of the new systems coming out have foolish timing! Don't get me wrong, I can't wait for the new systems to come out... but I think they would definately be better if they wait a little longer!

yeah i agree with fish-bait, but i think its gonna take a few more years, but waiting would only make 2 new consoles, the revolution and the 360, so Sony would lose oney, so they have to add there console into the scrap for the best console...

in 2-4 years ps4 will not be out...it will take another year for ps3 to get at a high demand..So ps4 wont come out a year or two after ps3 just started to flurish..

yeah thats true I dot hink that they should wait a couple years and then ps4 will come out in 5-6 yrs or so

But then the same exact argument will fall on ps4...My point is wait a little extra and get an amazing system rather then not being pateint and getting a mediocere system.

Hmm.... well, I'm not sure, but in an attempt to beat the Xbox 360, they will probably be enhancing all the way until release... and probably even after!

the point i was tring to make was just that obviously the longer you wait, the more technology will evolve, which will = better gaming...

yes but the longer you wai the more the people will get tired of waiting or vise versa for some people there expecations will grow so it better be good

I read that Sony is going to lower the price of the slim PS2 to 100$ to counter the 360, and ride that and relaease ps3 in 07.

i think the 360 is coming out very to soon(november), i think they may have rushed it a bit but the ps3 is going to be good.
