so Sony Copied MS because they showed off the ps3 after the xbox360 was shown?

M$ has based their entire strategy on the new xbox solely on gettin it to market before the ps3. They have openly admitted to this in Forbes.... Call me crazy, but i think I'd much rather buy something that wasnt rushed to retail just so it could get a head start in the revenue polls.

I think its kinda silly for a new xbox to come out already, the only reason theyre doing it is because sony is bringing out ps3, and ps3 + no new xbox = less money for M$... pretty sad

Yea.... I can understand Sony wanting to bring out something better than the PS2... but Xbox is still good! It plays San Andreas a heck of a lot better than the Ps2 could ever dream!

I would certainly hope that it plays better than a ps2!

ps2 debut = March 2000
xbox debut = November 2001

So we're talking about 2 systems that were released some 19-20 months apart, kinda like comparing apples to oranges in my book, Ive got no probs at all admitting that the xbox is better spec'd than a ps2, by all means it should be.
