one of 3 things is going on with the pc. either the ide controller is taking a crap, the hdd is dying or the cpu. if either of you can find time to help me troubleshoot let me know (cpu is amd so i don't think either of you can help me out there)

I already got it...its the hard drive which has died now and will soon be seeing a screwdriver. LOL
however i'll take handme downs as upgrades. LOL
