Llamatronics, it wont let edit my post. When we complete a goal how am I supposed to edit it?

LlamaTronics- 11-12-2005
well.... you don't have any moderator privilages, so you can't... You can always just post... and me other another admin or moderator can edit your first post if you would like...

Also a good idear to add the forum url to this

http://www.turnkeydepot.net/urlsubmission/

LlamaTronics- 11-12-2005
hmm... thanks for the link, but I think I'll pass on that one... I have submitted it to many search engines already, (google, yahoo, msn, aol, etc) and it doesn't cost anything...

um, what doo you mean "submit". Doesn't google, yahoo, etc... use meta tags, <title></title> tags to find sites. huh.gif

[Edit]: Hey Llama, I just took a look at your sites source, and you should realy consider adding meta tags to get oyur sit on google, yahoo, etc.

[Edit]:Also, I will pin this topic, as I thionk it is important enough. smile.gif

Well.. yes and no... They used to use that more, but now they pretty much scan the entire site for words.

Anyway, a search engine doesn't "search" every website in the world... Only ones somewhat worthwile... If a search engine doesn't know your site exists, it definately won't search it... So how does a search engine learn about your site? 2 ways... 1, links from other sites. If your link is on a more popular site, it will definately help your search engine status! 2, by submitting your site to the serach engine. Example: http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl <-- Thats how your add your site to google for free smile.gif

Mr. Grim- 11-12-2005
Oh, I never knew that. Well my site gets on google (5th result down when you search "Grim-Studios" dry.gif ) And i never submittied it. But I have a lot of affilates (well kinda)

danny2398- 11-12-2005
Thanks for pinning.
