The ds was released earlier to exract the moeny from going to PSP, but PSP just simply postpone the release and do better than the DS smile.gif

Mr. Grim- 07-31-2005
yup, but the PSP is much better than the DS, they would have done good no matter when it came out.

sniperatic- 07-31-2005
yeah but what i mean is, if everyone went and bought the Ds no one would have money to get a PSP, So postponing the release date meant that people did have money, and makes it more of a success ohmy.gif smile.gif

ya see, there is a strategy behind all this stuff. wink.gif

The New Nintnedo DS Wi-Fi system will be out soon along with the first Wi-Fi enabled game, Mario Kart DS. Finally, you can challenge someone in Japan to a game of Mario Kart. biggrin.gif Neat stuff.

No Set up fee or monthly fees. Wi-Fi is completely Free
Works with most Home Wireless Networks along with over 6000 "Hot Spots" around the US alone!

The DS is automaticly wi-fi enabled

You can even check out high scores online.

DS works at most internet Cafe's or anyplace that has wireless internet access.

Hotspots include almost every McDonalds (we ALL have one of those around).

Do you happen to work for Nintendo's Advertising Teem? LOL, JK. Thats awesome. My friend has a PSP and he was using it at our school which has WirelessInternet and he was browsing the internet but all he had to do was download an update for it.

White Guy- 11-13-2005
I think the DS can browse the Internet as well, you just have to download a Linux program or something like that. I saw it a while ago, there are going to officially reales it sometime in the future I think...

Here is a pic of the Linux DS keyboard:

So, do you have a DS?

Blazeix- 11-13-2005
Um. That was kind of an odd question.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say... yes.

danny2398- 11-13-2005
Haha, well I was wondering if he already had one or was planning on getting one.

White Guy- 11-14-2005
hehe,

actually, I'm planning on getting one. Quite soon. I didn't have one before cause there weren't any good games out for it, but now, there a more and more good games (PacPix, Warioware: Touched, Mario Kart DS, etc.)

So, no, I do not have one yet. But I shall soon! biggrin.gif
