Okay, I don't know who else to turn to, I can't understand what the Dell support people are saying and my dad isn't here right now...

My computer speakers just decided to stop working yesterday. I don't know why, but they just won't work...

I tryed to restart the computer (several Times) and I tried updating the Audio drivers. NOthing works!

My Audio driver is SoundMAX Digital Audio.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Do your speakers work if you use a different computer? What if you use a different set of speakers on your computer?

Also make sure you have the volume on all types of sound turned up. Go to control panel, sounds and audio devices, Volume tab. Click on the advanced button under "Device Volume" and make sure that nothing is muted.

EDIT:You fixed them while I was typing! I'll leave this here just in case somebody else has the problem. Maybe you could post what fixed them.

Once I accidentaly uninstalled my speaker drivers .

For many drivers, windows will automatically install the right one, so usually thats not too much of a problem.
