Well, as everyone should know, Nintendo totally stole the show at E3 2006.
Their Revolution console (recently re-named the Wii), had a 4-5 HOUR wait to play the demos using the "Wiimote" (Wii controller). They also released a ton of accesories that are Wiimote compatible. Like a Gun holster for the Duck Hunt game!
They also had some kick arse games comming out for the DS and the Wii once the console comes out, and Zelda: Twilight Princess, was officially announced to be a launch title with the Wii, it will also be released for the Game Cube.
A new Super Mario game was announced for the Wii titled, Super Mario Galaxy.
The New Mushroom Kingdom was also announced for the DS (I tried a demo at Traget, KICK @$$ GAME!). The New Mushroom Kingdom is the first Mario Side-scroller game to come out since the SNES games, featuring a 3-D looking mario in a 2-D, side-scrolling world, with new power-ups and bosses and charecters.
What are your thoughts? Will this put Nintendo back on the Map for Video Games?
